Indian version of Fifty shades of Grey




Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is all set to roll out a web series on YouTube titled 'Maaya', which is loosely based on the hit novel 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.

The series, reportedly, will revolve around BDSM and sex. Actress Shama Sikander, who started his acting career with TV show 'Yeh Meri Life Hai', will be seen in the lead role in the soon to be rolled out project.

Shama Sikander made it to the limelight when her short film 'Sexoholic' released on YouTube.
Her bold scenes in the video were widely discussed and it seemed the lady was soon going to bag the limelight once again for the very same reason.
when asked if 'Maaya' was inspired from 'Fifty Shades of Grey', Shama said, 'Yes some parts have been taken. You can see the concept of BDSM pictured, 
India has banned "Fifty Shades of Grey." Universal Pictures had submitted a version of the film shorn of nudity and with sex scenes edited to India's Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
